Ford Motor Company has some of the most innovative automotive research and development facilities in the world.
Their technical center at Dunton, UK required a portable air intake heater to be used at their test facility.
In line with Ford specifications, we designed and supplied 3 heater units which are portable, pivotable and can be controlled locally or remotely. An uncomplicated relay logic control system provides the electrical control.
An integrated control panel provides local control, and for remote control, reference signals can be fed in from a remote system. Shut down safety monitoring prevents any damage to the unit and connected equipment. Alarm status is displayed locally via indicators and remotely via an interface connection.
